[15:15] <snover> ugh. i do not know what to do about this. get first bitmap pointer from segman, create another new bitmap, segments underlying array moves because the new bitmap needs more space in the array, first bitmap pointer is now invalidated and crashes the game. i can re-get the bitmap from the reg_t after the new bitmap is created but it doesnt seem right that this would happen&

[17:33] <snover> the resume button doesnt seem to be functioning correctly though, it shows the tip of the day and then just returns to the main menu
[17:36] <snover> so if i opt-out some line bitmaps from GC then that slot stops crashing about being invalid, though i feel like this may not be the correct solution since then there is no way the bitmap will get freed, i dont think
