[05:18] <snover> anyone with some knowledge here, im having an issue with libmpeg2/mpeg2dec. specifically when cross-compiling for arm, there is some extra assembly code, which is compiled successfully and gets put into the libmpeg2.a, and lipo claims that the .o file is armv7 architecture, but the linker wont resolve the symbols from that file, and so im not sure what is the problem.
[05:21] <snover> if you pull the latest from scummvm-docker, remove the echo on common/library-rules/mpeg2dec.sh:19, and `build-images.sh apple`, you should see the linker failure when it tries to create one of the executables. or if you try to build scummvm, the same will happen, plus some std stream symbols missing which i havent investigated yet.
[05:22] <snover> some of these had been previously suppressed by LDFLAGS -undefined dynamic_lookup, but that doesnt really solve the problem since itll just crash at runtime then since therere no dynamic libraries to look up from.
