[08:03] <criezy> rootfather you can use the n you want. That indicates the number of jobs run in parallel (e.g. the number of files compiled in parallel).
[08:03] <criezy> Usually I pick something close to the number of cores on my computer.
[08:03] <criezy> In theory you could even use -j without providing a n, but I don't recommand that with ScummVM ;)

[08:05] <criezy> Not infinite (unless your project has an infinite number of files). But yes, it tries to compile everything at once.
[08:06] <criezy> I did it by mistake a few years back on a similarly big project. I had to force shut down the computer after it went unresponsive using over 100 Gb or memory.

[13:56] <blorente> Well, the bruteforcing was the fun part, actually. Turns out there is the obvious way to bruteforce the problem, and there is the smart and objectively better way to bruteforce it
