[00:29] <dreammaster> Dark=Star: I recently did some refactoring to make cc access more like the original, so that travelling to the Dark Side would work.
[00:30] <dreammaster> The downside is that I now need to be more pedantic about which side files I open are on. In the case of the special.icn, it's almost certainly trying to open the wrong side volume. I'll get around to updating it sooner or later
[00:31] <dreammaster> In the meantime, you can run the game with --debuglevel=1, and it will automatically skip over the menu into the game, allowing you to go out and explore both Clouds & Dark Side :)

[03:59] <snover> i think it was a commentary about the quality of their choice of voice actor for the part
[03:59] <snover> its definitely a polarising choice.

[04:31] <Mataniko> but coming from the chirpy Sierra narrators to the GK1 narrator

[17:46] <snover> waltervn: i havent done exhaustive testing, but the testing ive done so far looks like the new midi code is accurately sending stuff to the drivers now, for sci1.1+. im going to start working on the sci1late engine now.
